Elements & Chains

STARLESS's element matrix is the "not just bigger numbers" layer: bringing the right element out-performs raw power, but it is deliberately bounded — advantage is x1.25 and disadvantage is x0.8, so enough raw power still clears at a disadvantage. Knowing the matrix is an edge, never a gate.

The weakness matrix

Attacker \ DefenderFireWindEarthWaterVoidNeutral
Firex1x1.25x1x0.8x1x1
Windx0.8x1x1.25x1x1x1
Earthx1x0.8x1x1.25x1x1
Waterx1.25x1x0.8x1x1x1
Voidx1x1x1x1x1x1.25
Neutralx1x1x1x1x1.25x1

The four physical elements form a clean cycle — each beats exactly one and loses to exactly one. Void and Neutral are a mutual-advantage pair: they each hit the other for x1.25. That matters because the enemy roster leans void (6 Void, 1 Fire, 1 Earth, 1 Water, 1 Wind), which makes Neutral the single most useful counter to keep fielded.

Named element chains

Order your active skills so their elements and roles form one of these sequences (as an ordered subsequence, not necessarily back-to-back) and the chain fires for a bonus on top of your rotation, capped at x1.8 total.
